I've been looking at cv for a while now and Sal seems to be the one that is better developed and ready for tourists. Santiago, I've heard is not ready but I read this article the other day:
***********
Question is of course, where to invest? Sal or Santiago, I'm hoping to go on an investment trip with MRI in April, they have 2 developments in Sal, not many though so does anyone know of other companies that have more developments to look at

thanks

Lee

I would definitely keep clear of the great mactheknife development. That could be the most expensive free trip of a lifetime. Look at what others have said in this forum. There are many good agencies in the UK who will show you a whole range of property at half the prices.

Nobody who has been there from the British Isles has liked Santiago.

If you are looking for an investment on a short term return basis, SAL is much better then SANTIAGO..however Santiago is on the move and many approved investments are starting to be developed at the moment...In fact I have a couple of British friends that have just moved in to SANTIAGO...One of them has just inaugurated an Irish Pub in Palmarejo and the other is starting a CAFE next to Sucupira market.

Think about what you want for both you and visitors to your property. Flat landscape and lovely beaches and water sports (Sal) are not our cup of tea, and we have invested in Santiago, because the island offers much more varied scenery etc. This is a real long-term investment, since our development will be by a building site for years, but we decided to get in at the beginning, and have absolutely no regrets so far.
